Coke Studio Africa season 4! 2Baba, Patoranking, Waje, Falz, Kiss Daniel, Simi, Flavour & other African Musicians are set to Perform in the Fourth Season themed ‘Discover’
Coke Studio is a one of a kind music show which brings artists from different genres, eras and regions together to create a modern and authentic African sound through musical fusion. Coke Studio Africa show is produced by Coca-Cola Central, East and West Africa.
What is the idea behind the show?
Music is an every man’s language and the key expression of all emotions including happiness and Coca-Cola is the universal Icon of Happiness.Coca-Cole aspires to engage teens through the concept of musical fusion and artist collaboration and on a much larger scale, spread the happiness message through fusion.
The theme for this year is “Discover”.
What is the format of the show for this season?
This fourth season comprises eight 45 minute episodes and one double length 90-minute episode. Every show will feature live musical performances as well as a variety of segments including behind the music, artist competitions, challenges and special remixes.
Who is the main target audience?
The main target is teens but the show will also appeal to adults.

Which artists are featured in Season 4?
Coke Studio Africa season 4 features a line-up great musicians, These are:
Flavour, Patoranking, 2Baba, Waje, Falz, Kiss Daniel, Cynthia Morgan, Yemi Alade, and Simi join 36 other A-list musicians from across Africa to create over 90 songs which will be aired on 11 episodes.
How are the artists chosen?
The artists are chosen using the following criteria:
- All from key countries featured i.e. Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Mozambique
- Are all stars with strong youth equity
- Have a strong recent catalog of music which appeals to the youth
- Are all strong music talents
- Have similar objectives to Coke Studio Africa i.e. they want to grow their profile beyond their home countries and are interested in both collaborating with another artist, and in the concept of fusion
